Office Mart established as a trading company deals with various equipment for corporate sector and most of the products are complimentary to each other for the customers. Every year we launch one new product after having done a survey and research of the requirements of customers. During the year of launch it is ascertained that the product is well accepted and the sufficient back up service, warranty and spares are arranged for. Since this kind of business is very systematic and well organized and attended to on a one to one basis, the existing infrastructure is available for venturing into various reputed products that are needed by customers who are beneficiaries.

With our previous experience as an approved vendor for UNOMOZ in 1993 & 1994 and a stint with ITDG in Zimbabwe, we ventured into the business of supplying goods and services to corporate NGO’s and donor funded beneficiaries and government departments. 

We were recently awarded contracts for HIV aids educational books, Local landline recharge cards, supply of electrical equipment, Security documents, Office equipment, etc etc. The contract value of last year alone was to the Tune of US$ half a million in all sectors private and donor funded.

All the contracts are not awarded to us as a company. Depending on the products we asses and foresee the competition and we accordingly decide whether we should quote directly are go into a JV with our principals or ask our principals to bid directly. The reason for such decisions is avoid additional input costs such as local financing, inventory, local bank guarantees, local content etc which might escalate the landed price to the customer.
